More and more frequently, we are asked this question by clients and prospects. The truth is that CAN-SPAM compliance is largely in the hands of our clients. That being said, there are several items that we require of our clients when sending an email that enforces the law: 1. You must provide a postal address within your email, 2. You must provide your recipient an opportunity to be removed or "opt-out" from the email list, 3. The "from" email address must be a valid address.
