Variable Reporting - Blast Wizard’s Got It

July 26th, 2007 · No Comments | Print Post Print Post

Did you know that you can segment and view email reports in Blast Wizard by an attribute that you include in your email list?

It’s quite simple, and a great way to compare email results within a job for recipients that have different demographic attributes.  For instance, let’s say that you have subscribers who are broken out by region in your database, but you don’t have the time or resources to create diferent content for each group.

With variable reporting, you can send out one big email, then use the region field that you uploaded in your list to see how each group did compared with the others with regards to opens, clicks, and so forth.

From there you may be able to glean some information about what people in each region deem important or relevant, and you can use that information to sharpen your technique the next time out.  Just make sure that you ask for it either through your Sales person or Customer Care, as it is not yet a standard feature in Blast Wizard.
