The EEC and Boomerang

We at Boomerang have been paying a lot of attention recently to The Email Experience Council, the year old brain-child of Jeanniey Mullen (Worldwide Executive Director, and Senior Partner of Email Marketing at OgilvyOne Worldwide).  The EEC has been doing an excellent job of actively engaging representatives across the email marketing industry (from both the ISP and ESP sides of the aisle) on a variety of topics.

Boomerang eagerly joined the Council last quarter, and plans to regularly contribute to the ongoing dialogue that is finally shaping industry consensus on email metrics, deliverability best practices, and ISP relations.

Two recent entries in the conversation published under the auspices of the EEC really caught our eyes, as they both confirmed Boomerang’s status as an early adopter when it comes to the all important realm of deliverability.

The first was a webinar that talked about all of the vital components that comprise top-tier bounce management systems.  We were delighted to note that our own proprietary system had every piece of the puzzle already in place.

The second entry was a recent "reportlet" regarding authentication adoption amongst retailers (generally considered the leading practitioners of new email technologies).  The article talks about SenderID and DomainKeys, both of which have already been implemented by Boomerang.  You can read the article here:
